I just got back from Korea not too long ago, and it was an amazing chapter of my trip through East Asia. Seoul has a really unique vibrancy and character, though that perception may have been influenced by my distinctly hallyu-wave-centered activities. While we were there, Elina and I ate tons of delicious food, took dance classes, sang karaoke, and of course, SHOPPED. We stayed in Myeongdong, which is basically a pedestrian heaven of skincare and clothing shops as far as the eye can see. There were tons of trendy young Seoulites everywhere we looked (and a fair number of Chinese tourists too, hah). More on our Seoul skincare haul in a future post!
All of that is coming up in a future vlog, but for now: I’m riding high on a wave of skincare and makeup inspiration. So Elina and I made this beauty tutorial/review for an intriguing product that’s been cropping up across the k-beauty blogosphere: Berrisom Peel-Off Lip Tint. I’m already a huge fan of one korean peel-off product: the Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask (Sulwhasoo! I’m coming for you when I can afford more products at once…wait for me, ginseng products…). A peel-off product makes sense to me when it involves de-gunking pores. But for lip color? The results were…well, just watch to find out!
