I’ve been tinkering with the blog’s appearance for a couple of days and have settled on a change. We’ll test this one out for a while. Hopefully the new layout will make viewing the pictures as a whole a little easier (and I’m a fan of the mouse-over wash of color).
I’m also adding a new feature to the blog: the glossies, in which I trawl the internet’s best new campaigns and post the kind of editorial shoot that…let’s face it, we can only afford in our dreams :)
For the first one: a captivating campaign from Lane Crawford, an e-tailer with brick and mortar outposts in East Asia. I love model Xiao Wen Ju in these fantastic headpieces by Katuya Kamo. The campaign is aptly named “Botanica”, and its flights of fancy make great use of digital imagery to blend clothing, color, and pattern.
What do you think? Doesn’t this just want to make you drop thousands of dollars? (Kidding (sort of)).
